In 2010, The University of Phoenix opened the John G. Sperling Center located in Tempe, Arizona.  This facility was set up to be their flagship facility and head up their already 200 worldwide locations.  After a year of operations, they realized that they needed to create more of an experience for their high-level visitors and guests. They did this by adding fabrication, technology and exhibits throughout the center. An old dark hallway was turned into a digital experience with life-size video towers featuring former students talking to you as you pass by. In addition, a full wall of interactive touch screens was installed in the student resource center. To add to the overall experience, a 4×1 curved widescreen driven by three blended Christie projectors was installed in the theater. There were also many other interactive touch monitors and programs added throughout the center.
